We ventured into Dark Canyon for a quick overnight backpacking trip. This is a trail through the Raggeds Wilderness near Kebler Pass that follows Anthracite Creek. The shadows from the steep canyon walls move dramatically across the landscape and provide cool, breezy spots to rest and fish. The trout are mostly rainbows with the occasional brown. We were especially happy that there were very few bugs of the biting variety.
